HAPPY…

BEING HAPPY.

 

This is my version of Happiness or at least getting there….

Being happy? What is happiness? Google says it’s the “state of being happy” but then what is being happy or even happy itself? Happy, is feeling or showing pleasure contentment.
Being happy on the other hand is: Happiness, gladness or joy is a mental or emotional state of well-being defined by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. A variety of biological, psychological, religious and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources.

My opinion is: happiness is what you make of any situation. Is the choice you make despite how you’re day goes. It’s the first reaction you have after being insulted. Or rather. I think it’s almost like forgiveness, where in that case you are losing the right to hurt the person back. But in happiness it’s losing the right to hurt over things that don’t matter or better yet, it’s losing the right to carrying baggage that will weigh me down emotionally, mentally, spiritually and show physically on my face. This is my opinion on happiness.

The choice of being happy comes from you, no one else. It may have been sparked by an experience, a touching instruction or a just a self-realization that’s it’s about time I take care of myself and my own my happiness that others meanly don’t want to share. I’m not saying that you should be mean with it. Spread it, maybe someone just needs a spark, and that leaves a mark. You’re happiness may be the beginning of someone else’s change.

Happiness as it’s a choice. It’s sometimes sustained by the mental determination, that once the choice has been made that’s it. OR by the environment that you are occasionally in. Keeping it as it is. Is not easy, but there are steps or things that you can do or apply them as part of your routine. The following is what makes me happy anytime. Though it’s hard to get me pissed, angry or sad. Whenever I am, this is what I do. I hope, my ideas, views and opinions help you.

Happiness, just like everything else in life, takes time, takes practice and takes work but the rewards are endless. And once you truly commit to crafting your life in a way that will make you happy, nothing and no one will be able to stand in your way.

 

STEP ONE.

SMILE. Even if you have every reason not to. It will make you feel so much better and have a different view of things and life, at that moment and even later if you continue with this habit.

HAPPY THINGS. Do what makes you happy. Whatever makes you sad, let it go or change that attitude and you might just see how good it is. good company, make happy memories even if it means starting a fresh

POSITIVE ATTITUDE. This attitude is life changing. It changes how you think, how you talk, what you believe, and you even believe/ have faith in the impossible. Being positive affects your behavior and even lifestyle in a good manner that you end up attracting people like you. It boost your self-esteem without notice and little by little you get to have people like you around you, motivating you to the right things and ideas. This is motivating and encouraging. This will make you feel less lonely but even more happy than you ever been.

LOVE YOURSELF. Who are you? What do you like about you? What do you see in you that makes you smile? Am sure there’s loads you see and smile if not, then count your haters! Everyone is beautiful in their own nature, some realize it early and protect it whilst others don’t (protect it), others realize it late and love it to the very bits of themselves and protect it. Realize yourself worth and beauty now. You are beautiful and strong. (You probably don’t know it yet, But if you do help those who don’t) love yourself so that you can be able tolerate, and love someone else with flaws almost like yours or even different. This is important because you will be able to do more knowing what you are capable of and of your strengths and how far is too far. You’re a discovery to your own self. One that is interesting and lovely. Take time to you love yourself you might never know what you will find. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

DROP OR IGNORE THEM. Baggage, negative attitude, negative people, liars and pretenders, the list goes on. Need to be dropped. Together with all that doesn’t put a smile on your face daily. Or degrades you on a daily basis, hurts you both emotionally and physically, drop them. One is too many. Not everyone needs to be in your life. At the end of the day it’s all about you and how you’re doing and fairing on. No other people but you.

MAKE A CHOICE. It’s time to decide what you want and need. Sometimes you’re the one stopping yourself from achieve the ultimate happiness. Your walls, you view of life your chain of thoughts. Re-evaluate yourself and see if you’re the problem before you start pointing fingers. Look at what’s up. Or is it the people around you? Decide on what you want, the people you want around you and make it happen. It’s not going to be easy, but you have to do what you have to do. Your happiness comes first (God is still paramount 1st) and if they don’t respect that, they don’t respect you.

THE HAPPY CROWD. These people will make you smile like a fool. They’re smiling and laughter is contagious. Their way of thinking as well. You can say they are a happiness support group or family.

GOALS. For some people achieving their goals and aspirations or dreams and desires, is what makes them happy. Well, shockingly, it’s not. You are the determinant of your happiness. It all starts and looks like you. It’s not a thing or an object that when you see it you have suddenly reached you’re ultimate happiness. True happiness can make you accomplish more than you planned or aspired to. I have not seen unhappy but successful man. If your there stop it. But let’s not be ignorant there are people doing what they don’t even like, to either make it in life or because it’s their only option (though I doubt that you’re only option, if your reading this). All am saying happiness is the key & you can achieve anything with happiness.

Lastly, THE LAW OF ATTRACTION, thanks to the writers of the secret- Teens power, you have empowered me to my youth. Thank you. Yes it’s true, what you believe is what you receive. For those who haven’t heard of this law, welcome to the law of attraction. The law of what attraction states that what you ask for you attract, meaning you get. An example, at some point you’ve woken up with a song in your ahead and even tried to sing it at some point. But later on in the day it comes on the radio, or your friend so happen to download it on that day or something. That’s the law of attraction. It also applies to happiness, decisions, and even relationships. This is to say it’s all up to God & you. You’re the determinant of your well-being, your happiness, your career/job, your academic life, your friends (who you choose). It’s all about God & you.
